Drawing comparison to artists like Machine Girl, Dreamcrusher, and Guerilla Toss, Blisspoint was born from exploiting an employee loophole in a pay-by-the-hour Brooklyn rehearsal space, allowing the band to practice and record for free for an entire year. This psych-shoegaze-electronic trio fuses synth-looped samples with live drums and guitar, resulting in a heavy cyborg-like bounce. Distant, primordial chants swim through a dense fog of 808 synths. Blistering guitars cut melodies through a low rumble of doom.
